Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has expressed pride in his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, acknowledging how far she has come in her career while carrying the Doyle name.
During an interview on Wake Up Nigeria, Patrick addressed questions about Ireti’s progress in the industry, noting that he chooses silence over speaking negatively about her.
“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her.”
“And so far, she hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name.”
“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry,” he said.
Ireti Doyle confirmed her divorce from Patrick in January 2023, though the reason for the separation remains undisclosed.
