Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide, has declared that Grammy-winning singer, Wizkid, is the greatest Afrobeats artiste after the late music icon and pioneer, Fela Kuti.

Olamide, fondly known as Baddo, made the statement during a press conference in Canada while reflecting on his multiple collaborations with Wizkid.
“I am blessed to have collaborated with Wizkid on multiple occasions.”
“You know Wizkid is the greatest Afrobeats artist ever after Fela,” he said.
He added that their collaborations are driven more by musical chemistry than career leverage.
Olamide’s bold declaration has ignited discussions across social media, with fans of different artistes defending their favourites.
The debate intensifies ongoing conversations about who holds the title of Afrobeats’ greatest contemporary act.
Burna Boy declared himself the greatest African artist after Fela, while Davido has repeatedly maintained that he is the “King of Afrobeats.”
Fans of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy continue to engage in heated arguments following Olamide’s recent statement.
