Singer Cassie has put an end to her silence on affair with ex-lover, Diddy by filing a federal lawsuit against him.
The accusations extend to claims of rape and repeated physical abuse spanning approximately a decade.
Court documents obtained by @PageSix reveal that the “Me & U” singer asserts that the pattern of abuse and control began when she met Diddy in 2005 at the age of 19.
According to the court filings, the mogul allegedly subjected Cassie to a disturbing cycle of abuse.
This included claims of being forced into sexual encounters with male prostitutes while being filmed, physical abuse, and the supply of drugs.
Diddy Denied The Allegations
Diddy’s attorney, Ben Brafman, vehemently denies these allegations, stating that Cassie had been making financial demands from the Bad Boy Records founder.
Brafman notes, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.”
However, the legal battle takes a twist with Diddy’s lawyer claiming that Cassie, in the past six months, has persistently sought $30 million, threatening to write a damaging book about their relationship if her demands were not met.
Also, despite withdrawing the initial threat, she has now chosen to pursue a lawsuit that Diddy’s legal team categorizes as “riddled with baseless and outrageous lies.”
Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, counters this narrative, stating that his client and Diddy had a conversation before the lawsuit was filed.
Cassie Breaks Silence
According to Wigdor, Diddy allegedly offered Cassie money to maintain her silence.
