Late Black Panther icon, Chadwick Boseman, has been honoured with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This marks a deeply emotional moment for family, friends, and fans.

The ceremony held in Los Angeles on Thursday.

it saw moving tributes from Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, actress Viola Davis, and Boseman’s widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman.

They  described the day as “beautiful,” filled with love and pride for the celebrated actor.

Coogler praised Boseman’s unmatched dedication.

Also, he recalls how the actor continued to pour himself into his craft even while privately battling colon cancer.

Even when he knew his days were limited, he still gave to the art form,” Coogler said.

Chadwick Boseman began his journey in theatre and television.

Also, he rose to global acclaim after embodying T’Challa/Black Panther, first appearing in Captain America: Civil War (2016) before leading the record-breaking Black Panther in 2018

He is also the first Black actor to headline a major Marvel film.

The star died in 2020 at 43, having silently fought colon cancer for four years.

Despite the illness, Coogler noted that Boseman insisted on doing his own stunts and remained fully committed to every role.

The ceremony was attended by Disney CEO Bob Iger, actor Michael B. Jordan, and Boseman’s brothers Kevin and Derrick Boseman
