Also, the pregnancy reveal sparked heated debates online.

Many are questioning her choices and the media closely analysing her personal life.

Speaking in an interview with CBS, Cardi B explained that she does not deliberately seek out controversy, but her nature makes her an easy target.

I didn’t think I was that much drama. When I was in high school and I was voted most dramatic in my high school yearbook, I was surprised. I don’t like drama, it just follows me. Sometimes, certain things just follow certain people,” she said.

The rapper went further to admit that her bold personality plays a role in how situations around her escalate.

When you have like a big personality like me, or when you have a mouth like me, or whatever aura that I give, drama will follow you because it makes you like an easier target. I don’t like drama. It stresses me.”

Despite the controversies, she continues to remain one of the most influential figures in the music industry.

With the release of her long-awaited sophomore album “Am I the Drama?”, the rapper is once again dominating conversations.
