The twenty-four schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State, have regained their freedom following a coordinated security effort.
Reports confirm that the girls were released on Tuesday morning, 25 November.

This was after a joint operation led by the Office of the National Security Adviser and the State Security Service.
The students were among the 25 girls seized on Monday, 17 November, when armed bandits invaded the school.
Also, the tragic attack also claimed the life of the Vice Principal.
One of the abducted students managed to escape shortly after the incident, leaving 24 others in captivity until their release today.

Authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the rescue operation.
However, relief continues to pour in as parents, residents, and officials celebrate the safe return of the girls.
