Nigerian comedian, I Go Save, has criticized those rejoicing over the cancellation of Burna Boy’s shows in the United States, describing their reactions as “witchcraft.”
The backlash followed a recent incident where Burna Boy stopped his performance and ordered a female fan to be escorted out after noticing she was asleep during his set.
The act stirred controversy, leading some Nigerians in the U.S. to call for a boycott of his concerts.
Days later, Burna Boy’s scheduled shows in Chicago and Minneapolis were cancelled due to low ticket sales, prompting excitement among some social media users.
Reacting via his Instagram Stories, I Go Save condemned the celebrations, urging people to stop promoting negativity and tearing down fellow Nigerians.
