Lagos socialite, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) during a raid on a nightclub in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State.
According to NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi, the arrest was made in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, during an operation that targeted a suspected drug party taking place at the venue.
Babafemi disclosed in a statement that over 100 suspects were taken into custody as operatives stormed the club.
He added that several cartons of banned substances, including Loud (a variant of cannabis) and laughing gas (nitrous oxide), were recovered from the premises.
“Our operatives acted on credible intelligence about a drug party being organized at the club.”
“The operation led to the arrest of over a hundred individuals, including the promoter known as Pretty Mike.”
“Exhibits recovered include multiple cartons of Loud and canisters of nitrous oxide,” Babafemi stated.
The NDLEA spokesman noted that preliminary investigations are ongoing and that all suspects are currently being profiled for possible prosecution.
Pretty Mike, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and controversial public appearances, has yet to issue a statement regarding his arrest.
The NDLEA reiterated its commitment to curbing the use and distribution of illicit substances across nightlife venues in Lagos and other major cities in Nigeria.
