The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The decision was reached on Monday during JAMB’s annual policy meeting held in Abuja, where key stakeholders in the education sector, including vice-chancellors of various universities, gathered to deliberate on admission guidelines for the new academic year.

According to the board, the benchmark was approved after votes were cast by vice-chancellors present at the meeting.

The cut-off mark will serve as the baseline score for candidates seeking admission into universities across the country.
