Zlatan Ibile knows a thing or two about the highs and lows of the music industry.
From the outside, it looks like glitter, fame, and endless hits.
But behind the scenes, he says, it can be emotionally draining.

On Thursday, August 29, 2025, the Zanku crooner took to his social media to share a piece of advice for those dreaming of stardom.
Success, he reminded his fans, doesn’t just demand money for music videos, promotions, and marketing it also requires money for the mind.
“If you get brother or sister wey be fast rising artiste and you believe say he or she go blow,” Zlatan wrote on X, “as una dey keep money for marketing and promo, make una dey keep therapist money for one side too cos lol!!!”
It was a candid warning: the industry can be tough, and therapy isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity.
Over the years, many Nigerian artistes have echoed the same truth, admitting how depression and burnout creep in while chasing dreams under the spotlight.
Zlatan’s words only underline the reality behind every chart-topping song is a human being trying to stay whole.
