Former Big Brother Naija star, Mercy Eke, has penned a heartfelt message to her fellow ex-housemate, Tacha Akide.
This was after her successful Guinness World Record attempt for the most cosmetic makeovers by an individual in 24 hours.
She achieved 145 transformations during the Tacha Beauty Festival in Lagos.
The three-day beauty and lifestyle event, held from October 10 to 12 at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History.
The event brought together top personalities from the entertainment and fashion industries, including Toke Makinwa and Ice Prince.
Mercy Eke took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate Tacha’s milestone, expressing joy and anticipation for the official Guinness announcement.
She wrote:
“I can’t wait for the big announcement, my baby, you deserve it! @Symply_Tacha. I owe you one.”
The gesture warmed hearts online, as fans noted the significance of the moment, given the pair’s once-heated rivalry during the 2019 ‘Pepper Dem’ season of Big Brother Naija.
This is a clash that led to Tacha’s disqualification and paved the way for Mercy’s victory as the show’s first-ever female winner.
