Comedian AY Makun has voiced strong concerns over the worsening insecurity across Nigeria, describing the country as “a crime scene” while questioning the continued silence of government authorities.

His remarks follow a series of recent violent incidents, including school kidnappings, killings, and renewed bandit attacks in multiple states.
AY Makun noted that armed groups now invade churches to kill and abduct worshippers, school children are being taken directly from classrooms, and senior military officers including a Brigadier General have been murdered.
Expressing frustration, he asked how the nation had reached this level of chaos and why decisive action remains absent.
He further questioned whether foreign intervention would eventually be required to address what Nigerian leaders have failed to resolve.
AY Makun concluded with a call for safety, accountability, and urgent action from those in power to protect citizens.
