It is a happy day for members of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State. This is as the party’s governorship candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf receives the Certificate of Return.
Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP was declared Governor-elect by INEC after the March 18 governorship polls.
Today, March 29, Yusuf, in all smiles, received the Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Yusuf defeated Nasir Gawuna in the March 18 governorship election.
Gawuna was the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Presentation Of Certificate
INEC National Commissioner, Professor Abdullahi Zuru, alongside the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Ambassador Abdu Zango, presented the certificate to Yusuf.

The presentation was made at the Commission’s head office in Kano.
Also, INEC officials issued certificates of return to the Deputy governor-elect and members-elect of the State House of Assembly.

Present at the ceremony on Wednesday are the state Chairman of the NNPP, Haruna Umar Doguwa, a chieftain of the party, Shehu Sagagi, and other party leaders.
