Now, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is mourning one of its members, Comfort Adebanjo, and six other Nigerians who died during a stampede at the Nigeria Customs office in Yaba, Lagos, while attempting to buy rice seized by customs.

The Customs had on Friday commenced the sale of seized food items, including bags of rice, to Nigerians to cushion the effect of the economic hardship.
