It is unthinkable what people could do for money and age is not a limitation.
Chukwuemeka Clement, a 67-year-old alleged trafficker, may have thought of how to escape poverty which exists in his mind, and all he could see was picking up some parcel.
He says he did it to enable him to get a woman into his home. Â
Now, he has been apprehended by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
News broke on Sunday, after the NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said Chukwuemeka was apprehended on Tuesday.
According to the agency, Clement had ingested at least 100 wraps of cocaine.
On getting to the airport a body scan revealed multiple pellets in his stomach.
The Clearance
Babafemi said the suspect was arrested during the inward clearance of passengers on Ethiopian Airlines. The flight 951 had come in from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
The NDLEA spokesman revealed that Chukwuemeka excreted a total of 100 wraps of cocaine weighing 2.195 kilogrammes in four excretions.

According to Babafemi, the suspect claimed he ventured into drug trafficking to raise enough money to marry a new wife.
A Fresh Life
He said: “Chukwuemeka, in his statement, claimed to have spent 30 years in Brazil, Ethiopia, and Thailand, and was once married, but lost his wife and without a child.
“He added that it was why he decided to go into drug trafficking to raise enough money to marry a new wife and start life afresh”.
