Nigerian musician and activist, Seun Kuti, has reacted to a viral video showing dancer and singer Korra Obidi twerking at the graveside of his late father, Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Korra Obidi, who is currently visiting Nigeria, shared the video on her Instagram page over the weekend.
In the post, she explained that the dance was her way of paying tribute to the legendary musician.
“I gave baba an offering. We visited the grave site of Anikulapo Kuti today, and we all know that one thing Fela loved was a woman with gyrating hips. So I decided to twerk for baba,” she wrote.
Reacting to the video, Seun Kuti appeared to appreciate the gesture, noting that it aligned with his father’s lively personality and cultural influence. In a comment directed at Korra, he wrote:
“You guys know what baba likes but you will never give him what he wants.”
“E go better for you my sister.”
