Nigeria’s political battlefield just got hotter.
Former Rivers State governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has openly questioned the electoral strength of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, declaring that the veteran politician lacks the nationwide appeal needed to win a presidential election in Nigeria.
Speaking during an interview on Trust TV, Amaechi did not hold back. In a blunt and controversial assessment, he argued that Atiku’s long history of clinching party tickets has repeatedly ended in disappointment at the general polls.
