Nigerian actor, comedian, and activist Adebowale Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has denied rape allegation circulating online accusing him of misconduct involving a 17-year-old girl.
An X user with the handle @Lukurawa16703 claimed that the entertainer acted inappropriately towards a minor and allegedly used the police to intimidate the family
The post was shared in reaction to Mr Macaroni’s recent criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s administration over rising insecurity.
Responding to the claim, Mr Macaroni described the allegation as completely untrue.
He stated that the individual behind the post is a supporter of President Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Also, he alleges that the accusation was part of an attempt to discredit him because he regularly speaks on national issues.
Mr Macaroni revealed that he would pursue legal action against the user
Also, he called on the public to assist with any information that could help identify the account owner.

Reaffirming his position, the activist said he would not stop holding the government accountable, noting that attempts to undermine his credibility would not silence him.
