Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has revealed she broke a rib while filming an intense scene for her latest Peacock series, Ponies.

The 39-year-old actress plays undercover agent Bea, marking a return to the provocative roles that made her famous as Daenerys Targaryen.
Emilia Clarke described the shoot as physically demanding, joking about the awkwardness of explaining her injury to her doctor: “S3x! Times three!”
She added that filming involved repeated takes and intense sequences, saying, “Just keep bringing it. I’m going to sit on this thing, you’re going to bring them in, we’re going to pretend to have s3x.”
In Ponies, Clarke’s character, the wife of a CIA agent, travels to Russia to uncover secrets after her husband dies under mysterious circumstances.
Her role includes seducing a high-level KGB operative and navigating complex emotional dynamics.
The actress also reunited this week with Jason Momoa, her Game of Thrones co-star, fifteen years after the fantasy drama first aired.
Despite her return to daring roles, Clarke has said she plans to steer clear of dragon-related parts in the future.
Outside of acting, Clarke was awarded an MBE last year for founding SameYou, a charity supporting brain injury recovery, after surviving a life-threatening brain hemorrhage in 2011.
