Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Stanley Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay, has said that the country’s music industry is becoming boring.
The ‘Soso’ hitmaker shared his thoughts on Snapchat, writing, “Una music industry is boring AF! Spirit is coming to f**k up the continent in a bit.”
His comment came after another singer, Slimcase, also complained that Afrobeats was losing its excitement.
The ‘Shaku Shaku’ crooner advised artistes to release fewer songs so fans can look forward to their new music.
Omah Lay, however, promised to bring a fresh sound and new energy to African music soon.
