As of yesterday, cooking gas per kg that was sold at ₦1,120, now sells for ₦700 to ₦800, which was not so some weeks ago.

In Lagos, a 12.5 kg can be filled at ₦6.950 while in other states, it goes for around ₦8000

This means that, although the fuel subsidy has shot up transportation fare,  it has equally brought down the price of cooking gas.
