A chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Kenneth Okonkwo, is speaking like a prophet hired by Peter Obi’s party, but in few days, we will all know the truth. 

He says the final judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on will determine the fate of Nigerians.

Two major political parties are challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu at the 2023 presidential election.

The veteran actor’s comments come after the Court of Appeal Registrar, Umar Bangari, confirmed that the much-anticipated verdict would be delivered on Wednesday, September 6.

Bangari also disclosed that the court proceedings would be open to live broadcast by interested television stations.

Hitch-free Tribunal Judgment

According to him, everything is in place to ensure a hitch-free delivery of the judgment in the three petitions.

He added that adequate security has been put in place.

Also, only the invited members of political parties and the general public would be allowed into the courtroom.

This is to avoid congestion and security breaches.

Consequences On Democracy

After he perused the decision of the Tribunal, Kenneth Okonkwo, shared a post on X, formally known as Twitter.

He said the judgement would have consequences on democracy and social justice in Nigeria, Africa and the entire world.

The Nollywood actor said the final PEPT judgement would also determine if Nigerians would continue mourning over the declaration of Bola Tinubu as President or would experience joy.

Live broadcast of earlier proceedings of the Tribunal was suggested by renowned lawyer, Femi Falana, but it never came.
