Peter Obi has advised his supporters and all Nigerians to stay calm.
He made the appeal on Tuesday morning, February 28, 2023, at the Asaba airport in Delta State.
Obi, who was on his way to Abuja was interviewed by a citizen that shared the same flight.
“We should remain calm, consistent and persistent,” the flagbearer said.
“All we are asking for is good governance. Let the government care for the poor people.”
There are peaceful protests in some parts of the country, as citizens allege altered results, over-voting and disenfranchisement.
Obi ended in third place behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.
He did not say if he would go to court, should the result go to another political party.
As it is, Obidients have been asked to stay calm and not engage in any form of protest.
