Offset has finally spoken out about the death of his late Migos bandmate Takeoff, who was shot and killed earlier this month in Houston at the age of 28.

Offset expressed his grief over Takeoff’s death in an Instagram message posted on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He expressed shock, anguish, and sadness about the unfortunate circumstances in his post.

Shortly after Takeoff’s passing, Offset changed his Instagram profile image to a smiling shot of him with a small white heart in the corner as a way of honoring his former bandmate before posting the emotional letter on Instagram.

Cardi B, who is married to Offset, also addressed Takeoff’s death last week  in an emotional post on Instagram.

Aside from Cardi B, other artists have come out to speak about the deceased. Drake delivered an emotional eulogy at his memorial, comparing himself and Migos to the Rat Pack,an informal group of musicians. Meanwhile, top stars including Justin Bieberand Chloe Baileydelivered musical performances in Takeoff’s memory.
