Melaye Mocks APC As Bank Staffs Scale Fence To Escape Mob

Senator Dino Melaye, is making memes with the unpleasant scenes that are trailing the scarcity of naira notes.

He is the spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign organisation. 

On Monday, Senator Melaye took a swipe at the All Progressives Congress (APC), blaming the situation in Nigeria on the party.

His statement was a reaction to a video capturing the moment some staffs of a commercial bank made a run for safety as angry customers storm the bank.

The video trending online shows staff of the bank at the back of the building jumping over the office’s fence to escape an angry mob trying to get into the premises.

According to Melaye, the staffs were employees of Zenith bank. It was also gathered that the affected bank is located in Delta State.

In the video, the staffs had hurdled close to a ladder that had been placed against the wall.

Fleeing Through The Back Fence

The men and women were seen climbing the ladder one after another, as they jumped over the fence in their corporate outfits.

Also, one of the bankers, believed to be a senior colleague, was seen on the phone making inquiries.

She sought to know the location of security personnel from the person at the other end of the telephone.

Reacting to the development, Dino Melaye via his Twitter handle while sharing the video mocked the APC.

He wrote: “Zenith bank staff fleeing through the back fence. This is the situation APC put us in this country.  Atiku, please come”.
