Former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Mercy Eke’s Permanent Voters Card (PVC) has revealed that she falsified her age.
On September 29, 2022, she celebrated her 29th birthday by posting stunning pictures on Instagram with different captions including “Last of my 20’s” and “29 on 29th”.
On Sunday, the media personality took to her Twitter to encourage Nigerians to collect their PVCs ahead of the election.
Eke posted a picture of her PVC covering only her date of birth with other information on full display.
A Twitter user @OneNaijaPatriot identified as Olatunde who claims to be a ‘Fake News Buster’ used her Voter Identification Number (VIN) to get her details on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Website.
On the website, her year of birth is listed as 1990 as opposed to 1993 she uses in public.

Posting a picture proof from the website, Olatunde tweeted, “You covered your date of birth and left VIN that shows everything about you. Does this make sense to you?.
“Anyways, I’m here to inform your (sic) that I just found out that you are 32 years of age.
“Don’t come here 29th Sept and claim 25 years o. Have a nice day”.
Mercy Eke who was the winner of the BBNaija season 4 in 2019 claimed she was 26 years old at the time.
