As we celebrate our 63rd year of independence in Nigeria today..
We acknowledge the sacrifices of the Patriots who have worked so hard to give us the freedom we enjoy as a nation.
Nationals like Nnamdi Azikwe, Bola Ige, Fela Kuti, and Chinua Achebe, amongst many others, played vital roles in building the nation.
Moving from the past generation of leaders to the present, there are individuals who have put Nigeria on the map through their craft.
Some of them are:
Hilda Baci
Hilda Baci is a prominent Nigerian chef who cooked her way to global recognition by embarking on a cooking marathon.
The chef attempted to break Guinness World Records for the longest cooking time by an individual.
She cooked over 100 pots of food during her four-day exercise, creating a 35-item menu “as a guide” for every meal that she would cook.
However, Hilda was awarded 93 hours and 11 minutes by Guinness World Records instead of the 100-hour milestone she set out to achieve.
