Before the presidential election in Nigeria, celebrities received different comments from Nigerians for publicly declaring their support for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The famous twin, Psquare, were two of such celebrities that had to defend their decisions.
Many who believed in the Peter Obi movement applauded Rudeboy for courageously representing their choice. Others rebuked him, telling the duo to go face their music career, which needed more attention than politics.
Rudeboy seemed to be the man who was very open and constantly pushing the Obedient movement online.
It was too glaring to the point that it sparked a feud between him and Seun Kuti.
While some were of the opinion that they were using politics to trend because his music career was not doing as well as before, others were of the opinion that he was supporting P.O. not only because they were from the same tribe but so that he would also make money from it.
However, popular influencer Tunde Ednut shared on his Instagram page that Rudeboy just acquired a $750,000 luxury apartment in Atlanta.
He wrote: $750,000 = ₦562,500,000”
“You can spend your money any way, but when it comes to Psquare, they spend it on properties.”
“They don’t spend lavishly; Psquare money no Dey finish.” Congratulations!””

He commented on @mufasatundeednut’s post, “Agbado people are really teaching us a lesson after the elections!” God bless them!
Again, there were mixed reactions in the comment section, as some congratulated Rudeboy for shunning those who felt his music career wasn’t making him good money.
Others asked him why he went to invest in another man’s country if he claimed to be a patriotic Nigerian.
He captioned one of his Instagram posts, “in a country that works, #Atlanta.”
@timiinteriors commented, “The country that made you doesn’t work all of a sudden, Weldone ehn.”

Another wrote, “Baba God, thanks for relocating me from Nigeria.”
Is he tired of pushing the Nigerian “dream”?
Was his support for Peter Obi a strategy?
These and many more are the reactions to recent posts by Rudeboy online.
