Mr Ibu, a veteran Nigerian actor known for his comedy roles in movies is down with an unknown ailment.
He shared a video, asking for support and prayers for his recovery, as he risked his leg being amputated.
This was after his 62nd birthday two days ago.
The veteran actor celebrated his birthday on a sick bed in the hospital with his family.
The video which was reposted by MufasaTundeEdnut on Instagram gained massive likes, reach and comments.
In the video, Mr Ibu’s daughter pleaded for assistance to fly him abroad for treatment as he wasn’t getting any better despite exhausting all they had financially.
Reacting to MufasaTundeEdnut’s post, celebrities like Davido, Psquare, Obi Cubana and other well-meaning Nigerians volunteered to support him.
