One of the candidates vying for a House of Representatives seat on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has passed on.
Kamilu Ado Isah, a former Assistant Comptroller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), died on Monday following a brief illness.
Mr. Isah was a member of the same party with the former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwamkwaso who is the presidential candidate of the party.
The House of Representatives candidate who passed on was vying for Wudil/Garko House of Representatives Constituency of Kano State.
This is coming four days before the general elections for president, senators, and the House of Representatives.

In a condolence message to his family, Senator Kwankwaso said his death was a shocking news.
It has crated a huge vacuum that cannot be filled.
In an eulogy, he described the candidate as someone who devoted his time, wealth and energy to the success of the party and his immediate community.
He prayed that God Almighty would forgive his flaws.
“I am saddened by the loss of Hon. Kamilu Ado Isah, the NNPP House of Representatives Candidate for Wudil/Garko constituency.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace. My condolence to his family, friends and the NNPP Kano Chapter,” he said.
The deceased has been buried in Kano according to Islam rites.
Nigeria’s general election will hold on February 25, 2023. The nation will electing a new leader to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Also, electorates will elect members of the Senate and House of Representatives on the same day.
