Tinubu, Osinbajo, and Amaechi are leading the APC presidential primary, with 11 other candidates vying for the nomination.
Three presidential candidates, including former Lagos State governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and former Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, led the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) Special Convention held at Eagle Square in Abuja Friday night.

While six aspirants stepped down for Tinubu, only one went down for Osinbajo, yet Amaechi defended his candidacy vehemently.
This comes as President Muhammadu Buhari advised party members to be united and avoid acrimony in his address.
The President, who spoke to the delegates before the voting to elect the presidential candidate commmenced, urged party officials and delegates to follow due process and abide by all extant laws and regulations pertaining to election of the party flag bearer.
