Senior Pastor of Celebration Church International, Emmanuel Iren, has sparked widespread reactions online after sharing his candid views on marriage, priorities, and boundaries during a recent church service.
Addressing the congregation, the cleric advised men to be observant of how their partners prioritise them.
Also, he stresses that actions often reveal the true depth of love and commitment in a relationship.
“Watch how your woman prioritises you; that shows how much she truly loves you,” Pastor Iren said.
He also cautioned women about the signals they send through their actions, particularly in how they relate to men and authority figures.
According to him, certain behaviours can project vulnerability and invite unnecessary attention.
“Let me say it to you, there is how men can look at you and they know you are vulnerable,” he stated.
Speaking directly to Christian women, Pastor Iren emphasised that even spiritual leaders should not take precedence over a spouse in marriage.
“Let me say this to you, Christian ladies, even your pastor is not permitted to be number one in your life,” he added.
The pastor further questioned the practice of some married women displaying photos of their pastors on their social media profile pictures instead of their husbands.
Also, he suggested that such actions could breed tension and misunderstanding in marriages.

“Some women are the reason some men don’t like pastors. Tell me, as a woman, why would you put a pastor’s picture on your profile when you have a husband?” he asked.
