Nigerian singer Harrysong has broken his silence following claims made by his ex-wife, Alexer Peres.
This was after she announced her decision to temporarily relinquish custody of their two children.

Alexer had earlier taken to Instagram to share an emotional post in which she accused the singer of harassment and interference.
She alleges that he is rarely present in the children’s lives and leaves them in the care of domestic staff.
Reacting to the claims, Harrysong denied restricting his ex-wife’s access to the children, insisting that he remains an active, responsible, and fully involved father.
According to him, the decision for the children to remain in his custody was made for reasons he deliberately chose not to disclose publicly.
The singer explained that he has avoided engaging in prolonged online exchanges to protect the children and safeguard their future.
Also, he noted that statements made on social media can have lasting consequences.
“I’ve chosen restraint to protect the mother of my children and, most importantly, our kids, because what’s said online lives forever,” Harrysong wrote.
“I previously made the mistake of speaking from emotion and learnt the hard way. I never said she couldn’t have access to them. They’ve been in my custody based on decisions made for reasons you can’t put out on the internet.”
He further stressed that he has continued to provide for the children’s needs and remain present in their lives, even during periods when they were under their mother’s care.
Also, Harrysong added that the ongoing narrative circulating online is deeply hurtful and could negatively affect the image and career that ultimately supports their children.

“I won’t engage in public back-and-forth that could one day harm them. My focus remains their well-being, safety, and overall development,” he concluded.
