Veteran Nollywood actor Saba Kamorudeen, better known as Radical, has shared how movie roles shaped the way people treated him in real life.

During a recent interaction, the actor recalled how fans often believed the criminal characters he played on screen reflected his true personality.
As a result, many people avoided him and some of his colleagues because they feared them.
Public Perception Struggles
Radical explained that actors who constantly played robbery and crime roles struggled to gain public sympathy and support.

Meanwhile, actors who portrayed herbalists and traditional figures attracted more respect and assistance from fans.
Furthermore, he said the misunderstanding created serious challenges for many actors because people failed to separate fiction from reality.
Radical Speaks Out
“People thought we were thieves because of the roles we played in movies.
This actually made it difficult for us to get help.
Those who played herbalist characters got help more than us,” he said.
