Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake have been announced as headline acts for the Afro Nation 2026 festival scheduled to take place in Portugal
The organisers unveiled the Phase 3 lineup via a post on X (formerly Twitter).

They showcases a star-studded roster of Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall and amapiano artistes.
“PHASE 3 IS HERE. Legacy energy meets Afro Nation debuts. This is the sound of a summer taking shape,” the organisers wrote alongside the official lineup poster.
The three-day music festival will run from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at the iconic Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal.
According to the schedule, Burna Boy will kick off the festival on July 3.
He performed alongside South African pop sensation Tyla.
Also, Asake will take centre stage on July 4, while Wizkid is set to close out the festival with a headline performance on July 5.
The 2026 edition will also feature American R&B star Kehlani and rapper Gunna as special guest performers.
Other Nigerian artistes billed for the festival include Olamide, Young Jonn, Darkoo, Wande Coal, and Mavo.
This further strengthens Nigeria’s strong presence on the global music stage.
Early Access tickets for Afro Nation 2026 will go on sale on February 5 at 10:00 AM GMT.
Afro Nation is one of the world’s biggest celebrations of African music and culture.
The 2026 edition is expected to be one of its biggest yet.

This follows a successful 2025 festival that featured top Nigerian stars such as Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, and Qing Madi.
