Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P of the defunct P-Square group, have put their long-running feud behind them following a public reconciliation in Lagos.

The two musicians had clashed during the buildup to the 2023 general elections, with their disagreement centered on Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The dispute began after Seun Kuti described Obi as an “opportunist,” a comment that drew a sharp response from Mr P, who questioned Kuti’s relevance and success in the music industry.
The exchange quickly escalated into a heated social media war.
However, the tension appears to have eased. The duo were recently spotted embracing each other at a Lagos nightclub, signaling an end to the rift.
“We are artistes, we can’t be fighting over politicians,” Kuti was heard telling Okoye, a sentiment Mr P agreed with as they shook hands.
