Popular Anambra-based cleric, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, widely known as Prophet Odumeje, has stirred fresh controversy after boldly challenging fellow pastors to a public miracle contest.
While addressing his congregation during a recent church service, the outspoken preacher declared himself “the greatest pastor in the world,” insisting that no other spiritual leader matches his supernatural strength or abilities.
Known for his dramatic preaching style and bold spiritual claims, Odumeje asserted that he possesses extraordinary powers, some of which, according to him, he has not yet displayed.
He then called on any pastor who doubts his claims to step forward for what he described as a spiritual showdown.
“All the pastors in the world know that I am the greatest. Nobody reaches me,” he told worshippers.
“If you say I am not greater than you, come out for a challenge. Come out, let us do miracles. I have extra power for competition.”
I have extra power for ‘incase of incasity’.”
His statement has since sparked widespread reactions online, with Nigerians divided between those who see it as pure entertainment and others who have raised concerns about the growing trend of spiritual rivalry among church leaders.
As of now, no pastor has publicly responded to Odumeje’s challenge.
