Fuji legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1, has reunited with his babymama, actress Bisola Badmus, and their son Abdulmalik, one year after she publicly accused him of neglecting his responsibilities.
In September 2024, Bisola alleged that Kwam 1 had failed to play an active role in Abdulmalik’s upbringing despite acknowledging the boy as his biological son.

At the time, she claimed the 68-year-old musician had abandoned his paternal duties.
The singer never issued a public response, and Bisola offered no update on whether the situation later improved until their recent reconciliation.
The long-awaited reunion took place during Islamic singer Rukayat Alawiye’s housewarming, 30-year music anniversary
A heart-warming video shared by Kwam 1 on Instagram showed Abdulmalik, dressed in white, walking towards his father on stage before they embraced warmly.
This prompted loud cheers from the audience.
While holding his son, Kwam 1 sang joyfully about Abdulmalik’s return.
He expresses blessings for him and acknowledging Bisola’s sacrifices.
From the crowd, Bisola was showered with money before she and her son returned to their seats.
Beyond the family reunion, Bisola also reconnected with colleagues at the event.
A video seen by this newspaper showed her greeting Faithia Balogun, Kemi Korede, Dayo Amusa, and others.
The actresses hugged Abdulmalik enthusiastically and exchanged warm conversations with his mother.
Bisola last made headlines in 2024 when she revealed on the Talk to B podcast that she needed financial support to undergo brain surgery abroad after battling encephalopathy, a serious brain condition.
She later secured a sponsor who offered treatment options in the United States, the United Kingdom, or India.
