The Ogun State Ministry of Justice has announced plans to prosecute TikTok content creator Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, following a series of road traffic incidents that have raised public safety concerns.

The decision comes after a crash on November 1, 2025, in Sagamu, Ogun State, where Abiodun allegedly rammed into two motorcycles, leaving a rider and his female passenger severely injured.
According to a statement released on Monday, November 24, 2025, through the state government’s official X handle, eyewitnesses claimed the content creator attempted to flee but was stopped by bystanders.
The ministry described Abiodun as a “special danger to society,” noting that while some traffic incidents may be treated as civil matters, repeated reckless behaviour warrants criminal accountability.
It added that Abiodun’s return to driving just three weeks after the Sagamu crash further justified the state’s intervention.
The ministry also referenced another incident involving Abiodun on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Lekki, Lagos State, where he was involved in a lone accident that almost endangered pedestrians.
To ensure accountability, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwasina Ogungbade, SAN, has ordered officers to fast-track the pending Sagamu case for immediate arraignment.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with law enforcement agencies to protect the public from dangerous road users.
