Actor Taye Arimoro has issued a formal pre-action notice to actress Peggy Ovire.
He demands for a public apology and ₦100 million in damages over an alleged assault that occurred on a movie set.

According to Taye Arimoro, trouble started when he attempted to leave the set after exceeding his contracted work hours.
Also, he alleged that Peggy’s team blocked his vehicle and even deflated his tyres to stop him from leaving.
In a video shared online, Taye displayed visible injuries—including bleeding gums and lips
Also, he claims he was physically attacked by Peggy and her crew.
Peggy Ovire, however, denied all accusations, insisting that Taye was the aggressor who assaulted two crew members, including her driver, who reportedly sustained ear injuries.
The situation escalated when CCTV footage emerged.

Taye’s legal representatives argue that his rights to personal liberty, freedom of movement, and human dignity were violated.
