Guinness World Records has officially recognized Nigerian chef Hilda Baci for cooking the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.

In a post on its Instagram page, on Monday, September 15, 2025, GWR confirmed that Baci, alongside food brand Gino Nigeria, prepared 8,780 kilograms (19,356 pounds 9 ounces) of jollof rice.
The massive dish produced more than 16,600 plates, shared in a community celebration.
Hilda, who previously made headlines with her cooking marathon record, said it took “nine hours of fire, passion and teamwork and 1,200 kilograms of gas to make it happen.”
