Nigerian multi-award-winning singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has announced plans to gift ₦100 million to children for Christmas.
The music star revealed this in posts on his Instagram story on Monday, stating that he will begin in the Surulere area of Lagos State.
Wizkid made it known that he is doing the donation in honour of his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died on August 18, 2023.
The bereaved singer referred to his late mother as the “love of his life.”

While some applauded his move, others were of the opinion that he may be depressed from the loss of his mother.
