The few hours of silence from Peter Obi following the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the President-elect in the 2023 Presidential elections felt like an eternity to his supporters.
However, he has restored hope in the hearts of his supporters, ‘the obidients’, while addressing the Press on Channels TV during a live recording.
He says: “We won the election, and we will prove it to Nigerians.
“Please do not despair. We have elections coming out on the 11th of March, and I enjoin you to go and vote in that election.
“We still have so many massive supporters there that we need for our subnational and state assemblies.

“Please come out and be part of the election. I assure you that I will be part of it.
“I am totally committed to a better future in this country, and nothing will stop that.
“We were asked to go to court, so let’s go there.

“Remember, I am obedient, I will go where I am directed, and you will see where and how.
“An unexamined life is not worth living, and Nigerians can’t go on like this”.
Peter assured Nigerians that he would use every legal means to ensure the protection of their votes.
The Labour Party candidate says he will ensure their votes are not thrown in their faces.
He stood up to observe a minute silence for every citizen who lost their lives in the process of performing their national duties and prayed for speedy recovery for injured persons during the elections.
Furthermore, he expressed shock that Nigeria had not fixed its electoral process several years after independence.
