Trouble looms over the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, as his in-law, Tee Mac opens up on why he supports the flagbearer of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

The Flutist’s love for Obi comes to lime light days after he was spotted in Obi’s presidential rally held in Lagos State.

He expressed this opinion in a recent interview with Pat Utomi and Onyeka Onwenu.

Mac recounted how Obi supported a popular singer’s family, Christy Essien-Igbokwe when she died.

According to the renowned Nigerian flutist, he got a call from Obi, who was the Governor of Anambra State at the time, that he wants to be part of her burial arrangement.

He said that Obi sent a private jet to pick up her corpse.

The air plane also picked up other people involved in the burial arrangement and also stayed with them for three days.

Tee Mac added that the LP presidential candidate gave ten plots of land and 10 million Naira at the time.

Simplicity

Tinubu’s in-law also pointed to the simplicity of Obi during the event.

According to him, Obi had only two suits (brown and black) as a governor.

He said he was surprised that a Governor could be that simple and not have collections of clothes in his wardrobe.

To him such simplicity is rare amongst Nigerians politicians.

The in-law to Tinubu said he had not seen anybody who was down to earth and supportive of the entertainment industry like Obi.

Tee Mac said Nigerians need a president like him. He believes Obi can put in the effort that is necessary to make things work in Nigeria.
