Popular comedian Bowoto Tanimola, better known as Akpororo, has fired a direct shot at the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, following his petition challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
During a recent performance, Akpororo inquired of his audience on pidgin english: “Peter Obi still dey go court, abi?”
The crowd echoed, “Yes.”
“He go still dey go court for eight years”, Akpororo concluded.

His joke didn’t sit well with many, especially Peter Obi’s supporters.

They have taken to social media platforms to berate the comedian after the video went viral on Tuesday.
Peter Obi’s Case
Peter Obi and the Labour Party filed suits challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tinubu was declared the winner of the February 25th presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The case is still underway at the Presidential Election Petition Court.
