Rema & Selena Gomez’s Speech At 2023 MTV VMAs

Rema and Selena Gomez won the Afrobeats awards at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for their song ‘Calm Down.’

They won against other nominees like Asake, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Davido, Fireboy DML, Wizkid, and Cameroonian singer Libianca in the new Afrobeats category.

After receiving the award, Selena Gomez expressed her happiness and thanked Rema for letting her work with him.

Also, she showed her appreciation for the encouragement from Nigerians and sent her love to the country.
