The police investigating the break-in at the home of Chelsea’s forward, Raheem Sterling, revealed that Jewelry and watches were stolen from the footballer’s house.

Sterling had left the FIFA World Cup in Qatar to attend to his family after his home in Oxshott, Surrey, was broken into, on Saturday.

Surrey police said no one was at home at the time and there was no threat of violence.

The police also revealed that investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the culprit.

A statement from the Surrey Police reads, “We are currently investigating a report of a burglary at an address in Oxshott, Leatherhead.

“Police were contacted just before 9pm on Saturday December 3rd after the occupants of the property came home and discovered a number of items including jewelry and watches had been stolen.

“Enquiries to establish the circumstances are under way and the investigation is ongoing.”

Sterling’s spokesperson revealed that the footballer was shaken by the news and was eager to go home and check on his children.
