The habit of not reading through the terms and conditions before registering or applying for things often comes with a punishment that the mind may not contain. Now, a young lady has leant the hard way after her encounter with officers of the Nigerian Immigration.
The unidentified lady expressed disappointment at the officers for trimming off her artificial eyelashes during her passport renewal.
A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment the lady was given the option of going natural during the capturing process of her passport.
The Encounter
The immigration officer could be seen using scissors to trim the lashes of the lady to achieve a natural look for her passport renewal.

Expressing disappointment, the lady lamented how uncomfortable the process was and how belittling it made her feel.
In the caption of her video, she wrote, “Renewing my passport and they had to take my picture.
“They said I can’t have my picture with my lashes done. They are saying I have to cut my lashes. I’m so sad man”.
Nigerians React
Perhaps the lady had come online to cry out expecting that Nigerians would back her up.
However, to her greatest surprise, many lashed her for failing to adhere to the instructions in the first place.

holy_spireet opined: “Some of you will embarrass yourself even when you know it’s wrong. Eyelashes won’t allow the camera to capture your eyes and eye bag well. Not in Nigeria alone. Same wey you can’t take a passport photograph with a cap or glasses”.
