American business magazine, Forbes, has published its 2023 list of 25 richest people in the world with Bernard Arnault knocking off Twitter Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, from the No. 1 spot.
According to Forbes, Elon Musk drop from top spot is ” this year’s second-biggest loser”, adding that “Elon Musk, had it worse”.
Amazon boss, Jeff Bezos, also lost his number. 2 spot in the world in 2022 to No. 3 this year.
This is because his company’s shares crashed by 38%.
Also, among the top 25, two billionaires — Zhang Yiming, Changpeng Zhao lost their spots.
Unfortunately, they are unable to make it on the list for this year.
