The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state, Abdullahi Yaman, has promised to pay N100,000 as minimum wage if elected.

According to him, the current N30,000 minimum wage is not enough to take care of the basic needs of Kwara residents.

“Kwara workers deserve better pay. I will ensure they earn N100,000 minimum wage for a better life,” he said.

Yaman also assured workers and Kwara residents of quality education and the provision of modern health facilities.

He also promised to transform the state into a centre of commercial hub where the economy will boom to affect the lives of residents.

He promised to prioritize pensioners’ welfare would be given adding that every pensioner will undergo business training before their retirement age.
